Meet Stacey
My name is Stacey, and I am an endorsed Clinical Psychologist and Board Approved Supervisor with over 10 years of clinical experience. My experience includes working with young people within Public Mental Health and with adults in a variety of settings, including both hospital and private practice.
I always wanted a career where I could help people and I find it such a privilege to be able to support individuals and families, often at a vulnerable time in their lives.
As your psychologist, my priority is to foster a sense of safety and trust within our therapeutic relationship, ensuring that you feel comfortable and supported throughout the process. I bring a warm, non-judgemental and empathetic approach to therapy, while maintaining a structured and intentional framework for our sessions. I believe it is essential for us to develop a shared understanding of what has led you to therapy, so we can work together effectively towards achieving your goals.
The therapeutic models that I primarily draw from are Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. Whilst I am trained in a range of evidence-based treatments, I always consider your strengths and goals, so that together we can decide which may be the best approach for you.
